1. Overview

Becomely ("we", "us") is a private, local-first self-reflection app built by Maay Intelligence Pvt. Ltd. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

2. What we collect

• Device identifier — a random UUID we generate on your device on first launch. This is how we scope your data. It is not tied to your real identity.
• Reflections, promises, memories, photos — the things you save inside the app. Photos are stored as base64 in our database only if you choose to sync.
• Anonymous feed posts — if you choose to share a reflection to the Together feed. No name, no photo, no personally identifiable data.
• Payment metadata — if you subscribe via Razorpay on our website, we receive: your email (if you provide it), the payment ID, the plan you chose, and the transaction status. We do NOT receive or store your card details.

3. What we do NOT collect

• Your real name, phone number, exact GPS location, or contacts.
• Any advertising identifiers. We do not run ads.
• Cross-app tracking. Becomely does not track you across apps or websites.

4. How your data is used

Solely to make the app work for you. We generate personalised AI Future Letters using an anonymised summary of your progress (no raw text sent). We never sell your data.

5. Third-party services

• Razorpay — for web subscription payments. Their privacy policy applies to the checkout flow.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — for mobile subscription payments (StoreKit / Play Billing).
• Anthropic / Claude — for AI Future Letter generation. Only anonymised progress summaries are sent.
• MongoDB Atlas — for storing your becomings, reflections and (optionally) photos.

6. Your rights

You can erase every trace of your data at any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Start Fresh. This deletes your profile, all becomings, all reflections, all photos and all feed posts from our servers. There is no recovery.

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your device identifier remains active. If you uninstall the app without deleting your data first, the data remains on our servers indefinitely (or until you email us to delete it).

8. Children

Becomely is intended for users 13+. If you're under 13, please do not use the app.

9. Changes

We'll email or in-app notify you of material changes. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
